The NIST Pivot Controller watches the current to the drive motors of a centre-pivot irrigation system. While the pivot towers are moving, the drive motors draw current and the pump keeps running. If the pivot stops, or goes out of line and the pivot’s own micro-switches cannot straighten it, the controller switches the water pump off after a delay you set.
- Adjustable delay before the pump stops: about 1½ minutes up to 42 minutes, so short alignment stops do not trip the pump
- Adjustable minimum current, so it also works on pivots with step-up/step-down transformers that draw standby current
- Relay contact 400V 16A to stop the pump starter
- Supply 230V or 400V, 85 × 130 × 50 mm, about 0.5 kg
