The NIST SUPRA R3 is the protection relay for big three-phase pumps and motors, from small boreholes up to 545A. It mounts on a DIN rail in your own starter panel (DOL, soft starter or star-delta) and learns the normal running load of the motor.

  • Dry-run, overload, over- and under-voltage, phase failure, phase sequence and imbalance, too many starts
  • Pre-start insulation test checks the motor cable for earth faults before it starts
  • WiFi monitoring and control; optional RJ45 Ethernet add-on
  • Recovery timer up to 17 hours, 8 weekly timers, last 100 trips logged
  • Model R3_C: 400V, 525V or 1000V three-phase motors, with a second current transformer for earth-fault protection
  • Includes current transformer and resistor pack
