A pressure tank stores water under pressure, so your booster pump doesn’t have to start every time someone opens a tap. The result: steadier water pressure, fewer pump starts, lower electricity use and a longer pump life. The 100 litre vertical tank is our most popular size for family homes, guest houses and small farms.

Why fit a pressure tank?

• Fewer pump starts: small demands like a glass of water or a toilet flush come from the tank, not the pump.
• Longer pump life and lower power use: the pump runs in longer, more efficient cycles instead of switching on and off.
• Clean water: the EPDM bladder keeps the water away from the steel and the air in the tank.
• Easy to service: the bladder is replaceable. A 100 L replacement bladder is available if it ever wears out.

Installation tips

• With the tank empty of water, set the air pre-charge about 0.2 bar below your pump’s cut-in pressure.
• Check the air pre-charge every 6 to 12 months. A flat tank makes the pump switch on and off constantly.
• Install the tank close to the pump on the outlet side, with a non-return valve before it.
